We are planning to enable recycle bin in EBS R12.2.5.Are there any disadvantages in enabling recyclebin?

Hi,

The database recyclebin must be turned off to allow the cleanup phase of the online patching cycle to be performed without having to connect as SYS.
This is an important thing to know.

2 things more;

Purged objects in the recyclebin could lead to some performance issues in accessing dictionary queries.
Heavy space consumption by recyclebin could lead to performance issues.
