Hi Erman,
I was following your blog to install an sso 10g against an OID 11g: https://ermanarslan.blogspot.com.co/2013/08/installing-oracle-single-sign-on-10gr3.html#comment-form Nevertheless, when I am going to load sso schemas in oid database, using runRepca 10.1.4.3, in the validations screen, I got this message: Following schemas already exists in database (ODS). Assistant will delete them and create it again with a new content. You will loose all the data in this schema if you continue. What shoud I do at this point? ODS schema contains all data of the previous step that was the installation and configuration of the OID 11g. Thanks for all the help you can give me with this issue. Regards. Nicolás |

It seems the schema that you are using for installing one of the SSO DB tier components is already present in your database.
Please check your database and the relevant schema accordingly. Also you may consider using a different shema name .. |

ODS es the default schema name for OID and it can not be modify (10g or 11g).
When I installed OID11g, this schema was filled with the information of my OID installation. I pretend to install the sso schemas in the same database instance, that is why when I run the repca 10.1.4.3, in the validation process, it detects the presence of ODS schema and make the warning about deleting this OID schema, but this deletion would damage my OID installation. So, Should I install the sso schemas in a different database instance? Is there any way to do it in the same instance where I installed OID schemas? |

This is the warning about the ODS schema already present in database instance:
![]() As an additional information (I do not know if it is important). To be able to execute the runRepca, I had to apply the patch p6681117_101203_MSVista to the repca home, because when I ran the runRepca before this patch, in the first windows when you define the database oracle home and the log directory, I always got the error "The log file is not in a correct format. Check if you have special characters ...": ![]() |

Why are you trying to install OID?
You are about to install the SSO right? Please send me all the screenshots of this installation ? (not only specific ones, but all) Also, the directory related error is clear. There are 2 possibilities, 1) That directory is not present 2) the permissions of that directory is not properly set. |

As I mentioned in my initial question, I am installing OID 11g with sso 10.1.4.3.
I already installed OID 11g, that is why ODS schema already exists in database instance. Repca 10.1.4.3 does not give the option to just install sso schemas. Repca 10.1.4.3 will try to install all schemas (sso, portal, disco, OID, etc.). The first thing repca do is to validate if already exists a metarepository in database instance. That's is why it detects that ODS schema already exists (11g installation) and show the warning that is going to delete it to create it again. The directory error in wizard is because a bug of the repca 10.1.4.3 installer, not because the directory does not have permisions or does not exists. That is why I use the repca.jar file that comes in the patch p6681117_101203_MSVista. This are the full screen shots: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

SSO related schemas are name with the prefix ORASSO.. (for ex:ORASSO, ORASSO_PA, ORASSO_DS etc.)
ODS is directly related with the OID product. In Repca, you need to choose " Load and Register " But it seems you choosed "cargar" -> which means load in spanish :) Check the following url and retry your operation: https://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28196_01/repca.1014/b28214/load.htm#CHDEJFFF Update me with the outcome. |
