"MAIL STATUS = SENT" means mail is sent.. WF mailer did the SMTP.. So, it is the mail server job to deliver that email now.. So tell your mail server admin to check the mail server side.

IMAP is not related with the sent emails.. Imap is for approval..  It is related with ingress..

In your case, imapd is getting killed. So your imap mail server is getting killed.. It is not a problem of WF Mailer.. You need to check your imap server config.. But, it seems you want a workaround on the client side.. (client side is WF Mailer in this case..)

Several processes? Send me the imap-side config of WF Mailer please...
