Print issue in R12

Hi erman,

Print issue:

Version

Rhel 5 os
R12.1.3 app
11.2.0.4 db

Network printer

We are getting test print from Linux,but from application,we are getting below error

Error: lpr: Unsupported format 'application/octet-stream'

Also,when we migrate from old hardware to new hardware,will all printer related setting from application will exist  in new hardware when we clone it or do we have to register the printer again in application?
