snapshot of disk is a hot backup type. I m not sure whether it is consistent or not.. It depends...
However, this error is more brutal.

The datafile size  stored in control file does not match with physical size of the data file. -> That's for sure.

You may follow the following MOS Document.. (if you trust your newly mapped luns, and your restore method...)
