Database Connection unable to view output of Concurrent Request

Got this error today while viewing output of concurrent request.
error connecting to database prod ora-10
Solution was APPLSYSPUB status was expire(Grace)
Didnt know how it got expired. Do you know what cause this schema password to expired?
Also Some profile options were checked and I realize that there is and parameter of password expire which was 7 days. But I have faced this issue first time.
