One more than for clarity I do the following command for my alias ...
       
applmgr@prodcob admin (prod) $ keytool -list -trustcacerts -keypasswd -alias EBSJavaCode -keystore adkeystore.dat
Enter keystore password:
Enter key password for <EBSJavaCode>
keytool error: java.security.UnrecoverableKeyException: Cannot recover key
