Thank you for the reply. In this process, the source server (HP UX Blade Servers) doesn't have sufficient resources (RAM & CPU) for performing the EBS upgrade.So am planning to do as below.

1) Create a 12CR1 database in ODA_Base

2) Migrate database from HP UX to ODA server (expdp/impdp)

3) Create & Clone EBS R12.2.3 template on Guest VM

4) Apply R12.2.0 upgrade driver, ADOP Enabling patch, Delta/TXK Patches & RUP patch for 12.2.6

Please suggest me if this plan works or if I have to follow any different approach.

If I go with option 2 - will you install a fresh EBS 12.2 and migrate your data from EBS 12.1 to this new EBS 12.2?

I still have to apply upgrade drivers I believe as the data will be still  R12.1.3.

option1)Will you upgrade EBS 12.1 to 12.2 ? or option 2) will you install a fresh EBS 12.2 and migrate your data from EBS 12.1 to this new EBS 12.2?

Migrating to the ODA is another work, which can be thought as a straight forward thing (once the above upgrade is done or decided/planned)
