strace for D processes

Dear Erman,

We have few processes with status 'D' since a week.we tried to use strace and below is the message from screen.No output displayed

[oracle@PRO789~]$ strace -p 5892
Process 5892 attached - interrupt to quit

In above case,can we confirm that this process is not performing any work?
