upgrade

satish
Dear Erman,

We have an upgrade from 11i to R12.We have few archival tables with very huge size  that stores the old data from fnd concurrent requests and few workflow tables. Will this have any negative impact to upgrade performance?will upgrade has anything to do with arhival tables?

Thanks for the support

What kind of archive tables are they?
Are they custom tables?

I don't think it will create any performance issues. As far as I can see, custom tables are not read or written.
The things that are done for the custom tables are; creating an edition view and APPS synonym.

This is my opinion actually. I still suggest you to test it on your TEST instance and see.
