vdisk type within a guest vm

Mosh
Hi Erman,

Can I modify the vdisk type from local to share ? (this vdisk is already configured and holds data).
In case I wont share this vdisk from guest vm to others can it be configured as type local ?

Thanks in advance,
Mosh

AFAIK, there is no option in oakcli to do that.

So , you can create a shared vdisk, attach it to your VM and copy the contents of your local disk to this shared disk in order to accomplish what you need.

Also , check the following;
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26996_01/E18549/html/CHDIDBHI.html

in these doc, it says;

To edit a virtual disk:

In the table of the Virtual Disks tab, select the virtual disk you wish to edit.

Click Edit Virtual Disk to open the Edit Virtual Disk dialog box. Enter a new name for the selected virtual disk, a new size in GB, and optionally make it shareable. Click OK.

This doc is for VM Manager, so  if you have VM MAnager in the envrionment, give it a try by doing the above..
