EBS 12.2.7 Database Clone

Hi Erman,

I am cloning dbTier of  EBS R12.2.7 and it has new below option:

Role separation is supported y/n [n] ? :

What is this role separation option means? and what i should respond for this?

 job role separation is to manage operating system permissions for Oracle Automatic Storage Management, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, and Oracle software installations. Job role separation lets you enhance security by creating separate operating system groups to provide authentication for each set of system privileges.

How is your DB stack configured? If you don't have RAC, just say no to this.
If you have RAC but if you didn't configured or planning to configure job role seperation, say no to this.

job role seperation is a RAC specific subject.. But now EBS rapidinstall and cloning tools support this job role seperation as well.
