Batch performance

Oracle DB 19c

Hello Erman,


we are having a batch performance issue where duration should have taken 4 hours compared to 7 hours. I have attached sample AWR reports. To note that DB is running on EXADATA. The redo log switch per hour is quite high (25 per hour). We have 10 redo log groups each 1 redo log 10G size.

Previously gather stats was running and we disabled the job. The runtime improved by 45 mins (7.45 hours compared to 7 hours)

Kindly advise if it is because of the redo logs
